For more than a decade, Teddy has served as a trusted legal advisor to consumer financial services companies, including international banks, credit card issuers, mortgage lenders, student loan servicers, and small-dollar lenders. Throughout his career, he has focused on providing practical legal advice that helps clients achieve their business objectives. He has litigated scores of cases, helped companies navigate high-stakes government investigations, and advised his clients on key regulatory issues. As Zest’s General Counsel, he works closely with its legal, executive, engineering, data science, sales, and marketing teams to execute on Zest's strategic decisions and ensure that the legal aspects of the company's operations run smoothly, including compliance, litigation, contracting, and intellectual property. Teddy graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland with degrees in Finance and Economics and received his law degree with honors from The George Washington University Law School.
Jesse Kohl Jesse Kohl
Jesse began his career at a corporate credit union in 2002 and has been instrumental in the expansion efforts of the credit union’s staff, product line, and membership base. Soon after starting, Jesse took over leadership positions in sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships. He actively participates in the credit union’s Asset Liability Committee and Enterprise Risk Management Committee as a member of the credit union’s executive leadership team.
In 2016, Jesse was named President of InterLutions, a CUSO that delivers innovative and collaborative healthcare solutions to credit unions across the country.
Jesse graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Finance. Although 50 years late to the wild music scene known as the British Invasion, Jesse still considers himself a “Beatle-maniac”, has learned every Beatles song on guitar, and will challenge anyone to a game of Beatles Trivial Pursuit. He resides in Fort Atkinson, WI with his wife and their three children.

Mary Pifer has held her current role since 2013 and first joined 3SI in 1987. She leads 3SI’s global marketing, product management and marketing communication teams, which under her guidance launched its fourth-generation tracking platform and corresponding products, new cash tracing technology and integrated numerous OEM products into 3SI’s product line. Her accomplishments at 3SI include establishing the 24/7 call center in 2009, introducing multiple product improvements to the cash protection products, and launching tracking applications to protect ATMs, pharmacies, and consumer electronics stores. After starting as an inside sales and marketing representative, Mary was promoted to Customer Service Manager in 1992, then Marketing Manager for North America in 2002 before becoming the Director of Marketing and Customer Support in 2005. Mary is a sought-after industry expert and has spoken and presented at numerous functions including CUNA Technology Council Conference, ATMIA, SCTA, LPRC Impact, and more.
