As credit unions look for ways to improve the financial health of their membership, many are developing programs to help members rebuild or establish credit. WESTconsin Credit Union and PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union have found that incorporating financial counseling into their credit builder programs has been a key part of their success.

WESTconsin and PrimeTrust offer their members financial counseling and debt management assistance through GreenPath Debt Solutions, a not-for-profit organization that partners with nearly 300 credit unions nationwide. The partnerships assist members with financial literacy and debt management, and they also benefit the credit union as a whole. Join us for this webinar where we will discuss:

  • How these credit unions have incorporated financial counseling into their credit builder programs
  • Ways to incorporate financial counseling into other credit union programs
  • How financial counseling can benefit your members, employees and the credit union’s bottom line
