The FFIEC’s proposed guidance on managing the risks associated with social media may have some credit unions rethinking their social media strategies. The lengthy document, “Social Media: Consumer Compliance Risk Management Guidance,” was developed to help financial institutions understand the risks associated with social media and to provide specific risk management practices for managing those risks. 

The FFIEC emphasizes that mitigating social media risk is a “team sport,” and encourages the active involvement of departments throughout the organization – including the board and senior management.  This webinar will provide insight on:
