A free webinar presented by CUNA Strategic Services and Awareness Technologies.

This year the NCUA announced that its 2014 examinations will include an assessment of a credit union’s ability to assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks. Credit unions of all sizes will be expected to implement risk mitigation controls to better prevent, detect, and recover from cyber attacks.

While most credit unions have already beefed up traditional network security, the exams will likely have an increasing focus on internal threats and social engineering. Some of the most dangerous attacks come from the inside, due to the amount of data a privileged user can access. In this webinar we will:

  • Review the key cybersecurity requirements
  • Review hot spots for cybersecurity weakness
  • Make recommendations for improving internal and external security
